ART Announces New USB Mix Project Series

Applied Research and Technology, a division of Yorkville Sound, announces the newest addition to ART Project Series, The USB Mix , a three channel microphone, instrument, and line mixer/computer interface.

The USB Mix is a compact versatile audio interface for your computer that converts analog signals from a variety of audio sources to a USB digital signal. It can also be used as a standalone mixer through it’s main mix outputs.

The USB Mix is fully USB 2.0 compliant and offers a balanced XLR input or unbalanced 1/4:” instrument input with switchable impedance. Switchable low noise 48V phantom power also included.

Balanced 1/4″ TRS inputs for stereo or mono line-level sources with 1/4″ TRS output jacks that work with either balanced or unbalanced lines. Independent controls are featured for both sets of inputs, main output as well as headphone monitoring. Also featured is switchable assignment of USB playback and monitoring.

The USB Mix provides a great starting point for personal home studio recording or for anyone wanting to do mobile location recording.

US retail pricing for the ART USB Mix Project Series , which includes a three-year warranty, is $79 and begins shipping January 2012.
